Salaga North: I Have Connected 77 Communities to The National Grid in Three and Half Years – Says Parliamentary Candidate

The member of parliament for Salaga North constituency and parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party, Hon. Alhaji Alhassan Abdallah Iddi has thrown a challenge to his opponent the opposition NDC parliamentary candidate for the area, Hon. Alhassan Mumuni that he has connected over 77 communities to the national grid since he became the MP for the past three and half years compare to the NDC MP who managed to connect only 11 communities in eight years.

Hon. Abdallah stressed that he has served the people much better, outlining some of the achievements in areas of Rural Electrification, education roads, health, water among others emphasizing the need to retain him to continue his developmental agenda.

At the maiden launch of his 2024 campaign at Kpalbe in the North East Gonja District of the Savannah region on Friday December 20, 2024, the Salaga North lawmaker sighted some of the ongoing and completed projects that he initiated including Kiding electrification project,  Lantikpa electrification project, Tunga electrification project, Kpala Yili electrification project.

Other project includes Kanakula Yili electrification project, Luwandogo electrification project, Dogo-Kade electrification project,  Alindo electrification project among countless communities.
He added that he had given the people of Kabache NO- 1 and 2, dams, a market for the people of Bunjai, a health facility for the people of Jiranturu, a school and a health facility for the people of Kpalbusi.

The MP used the opportunity to call on his constituents to give him their support and again and the party’s presidential candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia come December 7th.

The member of parliament for Damongo and minister for Lands and Natural Resources, who’s also the caretaker minister of energy assured the Salaga North MP of his commitment to support him connect more communities to the national grid.
Affectionately called Man of Action, Jinapor said the district was created by the NPP and all the developments were brought about by the NPP, by Akufo-Addo, by Alhaji Bawumia and by the member of parliament.
Adding his voice to canvas votes for the party, Jinapor noted that; “A vote for Abdallah and a vote against the presidential candidate will be meaningless”, He added.

“God willing by 8pm on December 7, i will send the news from Damongo that Abu Jinapor has retained the Damongo seat for the New Patriotic Party.

Regional, constituency executives and other party faithfuls were present to show their support.
Hon. Abdallah is the first among the Seven NPP parliamentary candidates in the Savannah region to launch his campaign.
