The chairman for the Savannah Regional National Democratic Congress financial committee, Mr R.A Adamu has donated 20 new Apsonic Motorbikes to all the 7 constituencies in the region.
The donation which took place in Damongo on Saturday, 20th April and was received on behalf of the party by the NDC regional executives led by the regional vice chairman on behalf of chairman Alhaji Imoro Seidu from Mr R.A Adamu the financial committee chairman.
In the handing over speech of the donor, he reiterated his unflinching support to the cause and the agenda of the NDC in the region and national as a whole.
And that the agenda 7/7 and the maximization of the flag bearers votes in the region was his top most priority come December 7th.
The vice Chairman stated that the donation was timely and that the bikes came at the time the region needed them most since means of transportation has always been a challenge to the party in the region and assured him of the proper utilization of the bikes for their intended purposes.
An appealed was made to the beneficiary executives on behalf of chairman Man Blessing to as a matter of importance make available the bikes to other party members for party duties, when the need be.
Additional Seven (7) motor bikes were secured for distribution to the constituencies by the leader and flag bearer of the NDC, H.E John Dramani Mahama making the number of motorbikes 27 with every constituency getting 4 of the donated bikes.
Alhaji Ibn Zak on behalf of the regional chairman and the leadership of the NDC in the Savannah Region thanked Mr. RA Adamu for the support and assured him that the region is much poised towards winning all the 7 seats.
