The Assemblyman for Hangaline-Ngbaripe-Alhassan-Kura electoral area, Kumatey Gordon in collaboration with Zoom Lion Ghana have cleared a heap of refuse dump at the Galamsey station in Damongo to help improve sanitation and prevent floods in the area.
The refuse dump was over four months without being evacuated, which posed a danger to the residents.

The exercise undertaken by the office of the Assemblyman for the area and Zoom Lion Ghana formed part of conscious efforts aimed at resolving the sanitation challenges in the area.
In a social media post, the Assemblyman for the area explained further that the clearance seeks to prevent any health hazards the dump may pose to the residents.

The Assemblyman who is barely four months in office, has since received widespread commendations for that initiative.
