HRM Busunuwura Monasa Jonokpowu (I) President of the Busunu Traditional Council has admonished Mr. Adam Mutawakilu also known as Garlus to teach the youth of Busunu how to catch fish by themselves and not how to eat fish.
Busunu appealed to the 2024 NDC parliamentary candidate Hon. Garlus to use his new office as Managing Director of the Ghana Water Company Limited to provide jobs for the teaming youth of Busunu.
Busunuwura Jonokpowu also used the opportunity to appeal to Hon. Garlus to help lobby President John Dramani Mahama to appoint Mr. Yakubu Castro as the MCE for West Gonja Municipal Assembly.
Busunuwura said this when Mr Adam Mutawakilu Garlus paid a courtesy call on him on Friday to seek his blessings after he was appointed as the MD for Ghana Water Company.

Hon. Adam Mutawakilu Garlus assured Busunuwura Jonokpowu that the youth of Busunu will surely get their share of jobs in his administration as the Managing Director of the Ghana Water Company Limite
Mr. Garlus said even though immediately he took over as the MD of GWCL he realized that the previous administration has done some last minute recruitment but he will reverse those recruitments and also put in his people.
Mr. Garlus after first paying a courtesy call on the Busunuwura also proceeded to Damongo where he paid a courtesy call on Damongowura Kelly Seidu Boresa (I) before going to the Jakpa Palace where he promised to ensure that Damongo and its surrounding communities get asses to portable drinking water.

According to Garlus, when all necessary mobilization are completed, the time-line for the project would be announced
