Prof. Ahmed Nuhu Zakariah Receives 2024 Ghana’s 100 Most Influential People Award

The Chief Executive Officer of the National Ambulance Service, Prof Ahmed Nuhu Zakariah,  was on the 21st November, 2024, honoured at the 2ND Edition of Ghana’s 100 most influential People award.

The awards scheme was organized by Business Executive Ltd., an Accra-based Pan-African events management and media organization with a subsidiary in Nigeria, NG Buzz Executive Ltd., and affiliates in the United States, Canada, Spain, and Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

The awards scheme identifies and recognizes individuals whose personal and professional conduct and accomplishments, combined with their respective positions of authority, have enabled them exercise the most impactful influence on the socio-economic, political and cultural fortunes of Ghana and its citizens.

As Chief Executive Officer, Prof Ahmed Nuhu Zakariah was honoured for his immense contribution to the growth of Ghana’s Emergency Medical system using the National Ambulance Service as conduit.

His excellent leadership prowess over the years has led to the National Ambulance Service going through a significant transformation and becoming a model institution in the West African Subregion for emergency health care delivery.

Professor Zakariah is the recipient of several awards such as; National Honors award 2023, Northern Excellence Award 2023, fellow of the Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame, and ,the Ghana Development Award,2024.

The Business Executive Ltd. also hosts other awards schemes in Ghana and in the rest of Africa.
