His Royal Majesty Buipewura Jinapor II, president of the Buipe Traditional Council, has secured the contruction of an Irrigation dam for the people of Lito community in the central Gonja District of Savannah Region from his Belgium friends and partners.
The dam, when completed will boost farming activities all year round in the area.
The Buipewura and his elders in the early hours of Sunday 31st March 2024 visited the site to inspect the progress of work.
The constructors promised to complete the project within 7 days.
These was made known in a release from the palace of Buipewura Jinapor II by the Jinapor Palace Public Relations Officer prince Gbanso.

BELGIUM FRIENDS OF BUIPEWURA JINAPOR II KICK START IRRIGATION DAM CONSTRUCTION AT LITO.
It’s refreshing this morning as His Royal Majesty Buipewura Jinapor II and his delegation stormed Lito a community under Buipe Traditional area for the commencement of an irrigation Dam project. The Dam is one of the numerous
projects to be undertaken by his Belgium to promote sustainable development. The Dam when finished will motivate and support dry season gardening and promote livestock farming. Over the years Buipewura has always advocates utilizing the vast arable land for the purposes of agricultural and industrial development.
The construction is fully funded by his friends from Belgium.
In the coming days more of his friends and partners across the globe will visit Buipe and invest in different sectors.
The residents expressed gratitude to Buipewura for his selfless leadership and dedication to humanity.
