The Deputy CEO for Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) Mr. Albert Kassim Diwura, in a passionate call to action, preached for unity among party memebers to win election 2024.
At a mini-rally in the Zongo-Langbonto area of the Damongo Constituency, Mr. Albert Kassim Diwura, a former parliamentary candidate for the Damongo constituency on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) delivering his speech to party members said the massive crowd that came fkr the mini rally was a testament to the party’s resilience and determination in the face of adversity.
Mr. Diwura, reflecting on the past, said for some 12 years ago, the NPP in Damongo Constituency endured suffering, mockery, and frustration with their political opponents telling them that the NPP as at then couldn’t approach the table with empty hands whilst expecting bonuses.
According Mr. Diwura, the Almighty God, in His infinite wisdom, sent a savior, Lawyer Samuel Abu Jinapor, to rescue the Damongo constituency NPP party and the entire people in the constituency.
According to him, Lawyer Abu Jinapor’s impact has been transformative, as he pleads with the party faithfuls to put aside personal differences and unite behind Abu Jinapor.
“If Albert Diwura or anyone else had wrong anyone gathered here, for the sake of the frustration that we went through sometime ago, let’s forgive one another”. He said as he seeks unity and support for Lawyer Abu Jinapor’s retention in the upcoming polls.
The Deputy CEO added, that the NPP’s success in Damongo Constituency is largely attributed to Lawyer Abu Jinapor’s tireless efforts, saying his good work has earned him recognition, and he believes that with unity, the party can maintain the seat for over 20 years.
“Lawyer Abu Jinapor’s humility and achievements are unparalleled, his contributions extend beyond the Damongo Constituency to the entire Savannah Region. The National Democratic Congress (NDC) have won the Damongo seat for a consecutive 3 terms in the past accumulating 12 good years, but Lawyer Abu Jinapor’s influence has brought unprecedented development to the constituency, benefiting both NPP and NDC supporters.” He added.
According to him, he has personally benefited from an appointment due to Lawyer Abu Jinapor’s efforts, as he encouraged the gathering to appreciate the Damongo legislature by voting him massively in the December 7th polls.
Mr. Diwura advocated for votes for Vice President Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, emphasizing that Lawyer Abu Jinapor’s effectiveness relies on the government’s continuation. “By voting for Bawumia, the NPP can ensure that Lawyer Abu Jinapor receives the necessary support to continue his remarkable work.” He emphasized.
Mr. Diwura’s speech was a heartfelt call to unity, appreciation, and support for Lawyer Samuel Abu Jinapor and the NPP party. As the December polls approach, it is crucial for party members to put aside their differences and work towards a common goal, maintaining the Damongo seat and continuing the transformative work of Lawyer Abu Jinapor.
