Hon. David Tiki Dange Donates GH¢6,000 to Support Abandoned Baby in Damongo

In a heartwarming display of compassion, Hon. David Tiki Dange, Deputy director of Intelligence analyst and Investigations, has made a generous donation of GH¢6,000.00 to support the abandoned baby currently receiving care in Damongo. The baby, affectionately referred to as the “NICU Baby,” was rescued from a refuse dump in Hangaline, a suburb of Damongo.

The donation was presented on Hon. Tiki Dange’s behalf by Mr. Amadu Mudasiru, following Spear FM’s public appeal for support for the baby. During the presentation, Mr. Mudasiru emphasized that the gesture is aimed at helping cater for the baby’s medical bills and other essential needs. He also called on the general public to support the cause, stressing that society must not turn its back on vulnerable children.

“We don’t know the future of such a child. Who knows what this baby could become one day? Extending support is not just charity, it’s hope,” Mr. Mudasiru stated. He appealed for support, citing the reason that this could be anyone’s child, emphasizing the importance of community support for those in need.

Cajetan Don-ninge, receiving the donation on behalf of the Station’s manager, Adam Akilu Gideon, expressed gratitude to Hon. Tiki Dange for the generous donation, highlighting its timeliness. Spear FM continues to receive support from kind-hearted individuals and institutions for the baby and has pledged transparency and commitment in ensuring all donations are used in the baby’s best interest.

The donation has brought hope and relief to the abandoned baby’s caregivers, and Spear FM’s efforts have been instrumental in mobilizing support for the child. Let’s continue to come together to make a difference in the life of this innocent child.
