Establishment Of DVLA Office In Bole Not Politically Motivated – CEO

The Chief Executive Officer of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority, Julius Neequaye Kotey has clarified that the sitting of the DVLA Regional office in Bole was based on feasibilty and not on political trajectory as suggested by many in the region.

Mr. Kotey made these remarks during the commissioning of an ultra-modern DVLA regional office at Bole in the Bole District of the Savannah Region on Thursday, June 5, 2025.

He denied the widespread assertions that the office was relocated from Damongo its designated location to Bole because the president of the country hails from there.

In a speech, he expressed gratitude to the paramount Chief of the area, Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso I for allocating a 16 plot of land to the DVLA for the establishment of the office.

He admonished residents of the region against paying unapproved fee for services rendered by the DVLA office.

The Bole-Wura in an address, thanked the Chief Executive Officer of the DVLA for finding Bole convenient for the establishment of the office.

The revered chief encouraged the people of the region to take advantage of the office to avoid falling foul to traffic regulations.

The MCE for Bole, Abdulai Mahamuud in an address assured the DVLA of the assembly’s support in the discharge of their duties.

He also entreated the people of Bole and the Savannah Region to frequent the DVLA office in Bole to receive the requisite services and qualifications.
