The 2024 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamuud Bawumia is set to visit the Savannah Region on Saturday, May 3, 2025.
The visit to the Savannah Region forms part of his nationwide “Thank You Tour” beginning Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
The tour which received greenlight from the National Council, is tailored at conveying the appreciation of the party and its flagbearer to the general public for their unwavering support throughout the 2024 electoral period.
The tour is also fashioned to reinvigorate and reconnect with the grassroots supporters following the party’s unsuccessful attempt to win political power in the December 7 presidential election.
An official statement released by the NPP Headquarters on April 21, 2025 revealed that the nationwide tour will include national leadership of the party.
Dr. Bawumia is expected to interact with executives of the party as part of efforts to re-energize the base of the party for subsequent elections.
