Abu Jinapor Supports Pensioners in Damongo Constituency.

Member of Parliament for Damongo constituency who doubles as the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources Hon Lawyer Samuel Abu Jinapor has donated 5 motorbikes and a number of bicycles to the pensioners association of Damongo.

This is in fulfilment of a promise made by the Damongo MP to the pensioners association when he met them some months ago to seek for their ideas to guide him in his political life.

The donation was done on behalf of Abu Jinapor by the Damongo constituency NPP Secretary Mr. Kadiri Abdul Rahaman.

Mr. Rahaman said the MP has an intention of donating a car to the pensioners association to facilitate easy movement of their executives if they do not quarrel over the motorbikes and bicycles presented to them.

He disclosed that the MP has facilitated the enrolment of about 100 retirees into the The Livelihood Empowerment against Poverty (LEAP) programme which will  provide cash and health insurance to extremely poor retirees across the Damongo Constituency to alleviate short-term poverty and encourage long term human capital development.

Mr. Rahman also seized the opportunity to inform to the pensioners that next week, Lawyer Abu Jinapor will file his nomination to contest in the upcoming December 7th polls as the Member of Parliament for Damongo constituency hence needs the prayers and support of the pensioners.
